C’est fantastique! The weather is remarkably unusual for Northern Europe at this time of the year!
Yesterday the temperature rose to a maximum of 19.8 degrees celsius, today the maximum lies round 14 degrees. Normally it should be around 8 degrees in the second decade of November. The leaves are still hanging on the trees.
The wind comes from the South, and it is rather strong (4-6 Bft), bringing warm mediterranean air. As the air climbs the pyrenees, the so called föhn effect takes place. Air is forced to climb and loses its humidity. The rising air cools down slower than the falling air heats up at the other side of the mountains. Per saldo, warm air will be blown over the lands at sea level.
I have taken a picture from the window of my room (with the camera of my phone).
